Hamlet - Crazy or Antic-disposition?

In Shakespeare's Hamlet, the main character decides to create an antic-disposition so that he can take revenge on his father's murderer. Scholars argue as to whether Hamlet was just putting on an act, or if he was actually insane. Based on the things he does in the play, I would say that he starts out sane, but descends into insanity.
